Massimiliano Allegri has revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo has told him he will stay at Juventus.
The Juve head coach confirmed in a press conference ahead of the Serie A opener with Udinese on Sunday that the Portuguese forward had confirmed to him his future plans.
The 36-year-old has been the subject of speculation linking him with a move away from Turin this summer, with a return to Manchester United or linking up with Lionel Messi at Paris Saint-Germain cited as possible avenues.
However, Allegri has appeared to put an end to that speculation.
“Cristiano has told me he is staying.

“So we can clear that one up.
“I have heard the rumours only from you, he is working well and staying at Juventus.”
Ronaldo’s contract at the Allianz Stadium expires in June 2022.
