Brentford earned promotion to the top flight of English football for the first time in 73 years after they beat Swansea 2-0 at Wembley.

Twelve thousand fans made an uproarious noise in the north London sunshine as supporters from both sides soaked up the biggest occasion in the Football League calendar.
Matt Grimes was lucky not to be given a straight red card inside the opening five minutes, but the referee decided his wild lunge was worthy of just a yellow card.
And a bad start for the Swans got even worse on 10 minutes as Ivan Toney converted a penalty after Freddie Woodman had brought down Josh Dasilva.
Things got even better for the Bees just eight minutes later as Emi Marcones latched on to a pass by Mads Roserlev and finished with aplomb.
Into the second half and the Swans almost cut their deficit in half but Andre Ayew’s diving header went just wide of the left-hand post.
But despite some extended pressure, the Swans task got even more difficult as Jay Fulton was given his marching orders for a bad tackle on Mathias Jensen.
It made a difficult task even more impossible and the south Wales side struggled in the final quarter of the game as Brentford secured their promotion to the Premier League
