A small hunting knife manufactured in the 1950th by Schmidt & Ziegler Co. in Solingen, West Germany. This vintage Hunter is used, but it is in very much usable condition still – all parts are tight; no edge nicks on the blade, the tip is intact. Original brown leather sheath is included. Genuine European stag and aluminum pommel handle with colored fiber washers on ends; all parts are tight with no play. The knife is about 7-3/8″ / 18.8 cm overall; “blood-grooved” carbon steel blade is about 3-1/2″ / 9 cm. The edge is very sharp still; the tip is intact; minor pitting on one side is noted for accuracy. The sheath used but it’s in great overall condition – the leather is soft and supple; original stitching is intact, the keeper is nice tight.
