Atlético Madrid midfielder Saúl Ñíguez trained alone this morning and not with the Atlético Madrid squad, according to Cadena COPE.
Atlético and Barcelona are currently working on a swap deal that would see the Spanish midfielder move to Barça and Antoine Griezmann return to the Wanda Metropolitano. Liverpool and Chelsea are also reportedly interested in Saúl.
The bulk of the squad are still enjoying their holidays having competed with their national teams this summer. It remains to be seen whether Saúl will participate with the rest of the squad or continue to do individual work for the remainder of the week.
