TRANSFER GOSSIP: SALAH’S AGENT ON SAUDI SWITCH; CHELSEA STRIKER SEARCH
Welcome to Mondayâs round-up of all of the latest news and rumours from across the world of transfers.
Transfer story of the day
A remarkable story from Saudi publication Al Riyadiah claimed earlier on Monday that Pro League side Al Ittihad want to Mohamed Salah this summer.
Liverpool have already lost Jordan Henderson and Fabinho to Saudi sides during this window and now Al Ittihad are ready to test their resolve again.
With the Reds needing to sell before they can buy big, Al Riyadiah say they are prepared to bid around âŹ80m for Salahâs services.
And would offer the 31-year-old a two year deal which would earn the Egypt international âŹ180m over the course of the contract.
Salahâs agent however, has since been on the record to insist that his client would not be leaving Anfield any time soon.
Ramy Abbas Issa said on Twitter: âIf we considered leaving Liverpool this year, we wouldnât have renewed the contract last summer. Mohamed remains committed to LFC.â
Fresh rumours đ„
Ansu Fati was linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain over the weekend with reports from France claiming that the youngster could be sold by the Camp Nou club.
That has been rubbished by Sport, though, with the Blaugrana desperate to keep the attacker.
The London Evening Standard report on a transfer story from Tottenham that isnât to do with Harry Kane.
They say that the north London side will announce the double signing of Micky van de Ven and Alejo Veliz within the next 24 hours.

The Barcelona rumour mill keeps whirring with a new story in Mundo Deportivo on Monday claiming that Bernardo Silva wants to join the club.
Itâs not really new news but the Catalan daily insists that the Portugal international has informed Pep Guardiola of his intention to leave this summer.
Gazzetta dello Sport say that Roma will complete their move for Renato Sanches later this week.
The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder will sign for Jose Mourinhoâs side on an initial one-year loan with an option to buy.
The Times say that Chelsea will make one last move for Brighton midfielder Moisés Caicedo this week.

From the horseâs mouth đŽ
Southampton CEO Phil Parsons has insisted that his side do not need to sell players on the cheap with Romeo Lavia being one of those heavily linked with an exit.
âWe are looking at all options, but letâs be realistic,â he told the BBC. âWeâve got 30-plus players and we donât need 30-plus players. Weâre actually in a position to make sure the finances balance out quite well and you do get hit substantially being relegated.
âWe can trim the squad, we can sell assets if we want to. We wonât be selling assets on the cheap. And thatâs why we stood firm on a few.
âWe will develop a lot of players over the coming years and there will be players who gone on to join top-four clubs but we wonât be doing it at a cheap rate, we will be doing it at the going rate. If clubs want to place offers with us, we will look at them. We wonât be saying just yes to any offer through the door.â
