Rey Manaj nets hat-trick in Barcelona win over Gimnàstic

Barcelona got their pre-season under way with a 4-0 victory over Gimnàstic de Tarragona on Wednesday evening.

Scorers: Manaj 60′, 86, 90′ (P), Collado 85′

The likes of Gerard Piqué, Sergiño Dest, Miralem Pjanić and Riqui Puig all started for Ronald Koeman’s side but the first half finished goalless.

Half-time yielded a raft of changes and it was substitute Rey Manaj who opened the scoring with a great strike on the hour mark.

1-0 was how it stayed until the 85th minute, when Àlex Collado made it 2-0 with a deflected effort.

A minute later Manaj got his second of the game, before completing his hat-trick from the penalty spot in the dying minutes.
