NOS – Vintage aluminum military issue horse combs – set of two – $10 They are stamped “Germany” and are from the Vietnam era or earlier. They were used as horse mane combs and were most likely contracted overseas at the time (hence the Germany stamp). These were purchased in the early 70’s at a US DOD auction at the Alameda Naval Air Station in Alameda, CA. All combs are new and unused, some may have minor scuffing/dings from being stored. Both combs measure under 5” and are very light, weighing 1.9 oz together. We have been told these combs are excellent for dogs with heavy undercoats, they are firm and not sharp!! GENERAL POLICY Any/all cleaning/restoration/repair (if necessary) is the responsibility of the buyer. All items are from a smoke free environment unless otherwise indicated. We use the USPS to calculate shipping and will combine shipping whenever possible. We add minimal handling charges to our items. Items purchased on Friday may not be shipped until Monday. While we do ship on SOME Saturdays, shipments are generally processed Monday through Friday during regular business hours. GENERAL POLICY Please see photos for closer details and overall condition.
