VfB Stuttgart chief Sven Mislintat can’t see Borussia Dortmund turning down Chelsea should they come through with a mooted mega offer for Erling Haaland.
Chelsea are said to be willing to offer €175m for the Norway striker, knowing his contract carries a buyout clause of €75m – which can only be triggered from next summer.
Former Arsenal chief scout Mislintat stated: “So far it has been said that BVB won’t sell him.
“In some media, including ‘kicker’, it is reported that there will be an exit scenario for 75 or 80 million from next year.
“If a club were to put down 175 million now: Can you afford to forego 100 million for a year? There are pain limits, but we are at least able to raise them.”
