Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has completed a season long loan move to Turkish side Besiktas.
Despite Olivier Giroud’s summer exit, the 27-year-old has fallen further down the pecking order after the arrival of Romelu Lukaku.
And Chelsea have allowed him to exit temporarily again, this time signing for the Istanbul outfit until next summer.
It is the fifth loan spell of his Blues career, since arriving in 2016, previously playing for Borussia Dortmund, Valencia and Crystal Palace twice.
However, with Batshuayi’s contract set to expire next summer, the club have extended his deal prior to the move in order to avoid losing him on a free transfer in July.
The Belgian is now committed to the Champions League holders until the summer of 2023.
