MARCUS THURAM CALLED UP TO COMPLETE FRANCE’S WORLD CUP SQUAD 🇫🇷
France have announced that their World Cup squad has now been finalised with Monday morning’s inclusion of Marcus Thuram.
Didier Deschamps announced a 25-man squad on Friday but indicated that he would likely add a final player before tonight’s deadline.
And he has done so by calling up Gladbach forward Thuram, who will join up with his international colleagues on Monday afternoon at Clairefontaine.
It is a well deserved call up for the 25-year-old given his club form this season which has seen him net 13 goals and provide four assists in all competitions to date.
Thuram, who is the Bundesliga’s second top goalscorer after compatriot Christopher Nkunku, had not been called up by Les Bleus since last year’s European Championship.
