Cristiano Ronaldo’s sensational return to the Premier League with Manchester City looks to be a step closer.
A report in ESPN on Thursday has claimed that the English club are ready to move for the 36-year-old, with Ronaldo and Pep Guardiola having spoken on the phone this morning.
Personal terms are believed to have been agreed between the player and City, per multiple reports.
City must now agree terms with Juventus, who are keen to get Ronaldo off their wage bill but want to recoup €30m for the Portugal international.
It would see Ronaldo return to the top flight of English football for the first time since leaving Manchester United in 2008.
