Real Mallorca have announced a preseason training invitation to former England striker Daniel Sturridge.
Former Liverpool and England striker Sturridge has been invited to join pre-season training with Mallorca after 15 months without a club.
The 31-year-old left Turkish side Trabzonspor in March 2020 and has been training alone in a bid to find a new outfit.
And Mallorca – who were promoted to La Liga last season – made him an offer.
The LaLiga club announced: “RCD Mallorca has extended an invitation for Daniel Sturridge (Birmingham, England, 1989) to participate from tomorrow, July 14, in the club’s first-team training sessions as part of its preparation process.”
