Liverpool have confirmed that Serbian midfielder Marko Grujić has left the club to join Porto.
The Liga NOS have beaten off reported interest from Sporting and Sassuolo to seal a move for the 25-year-old.
Grujić will now complete a permanent transfer to a club he appeared for 36 times while on loan last season.
His five-year career at Anfield produced only eight first-team appearances, with Grujić spending the majority of the time out on loan at the likes of Hertha BSC and Cardiff.
The central midfielder was Jürgen Klopp’s first signing as manager back in 2016 but now leaves Liverpool for a reported fee of €12m.
