Leicester City have confirmed the signing of defender Ryan Bertrand on a free transfer.
Bertrand has signed a two-year deal with the club after his Southampton contract expired on June 30.
The 31-year-old – who can also operate as a centre-back – was strongly linked with a move to Arsenal earlier in the window.
Bertrand had made over 190 appearances during his six year stay at St.Marys, moving there from Chelsea where he had won the Champions League in 2012.
He has also earned 19 caps for England.
