Philippe Sanfourche of RTL reports today that Kylian Mbappé is set on joining Real Madrid, with the only question mark being when the forward will move to Spain.
The Frenchman is looking to be the centrepiece of the Merengues’ project over the long term, with the possibility of being part of a project and a desire to discover a new environment key to his decision-making.
Any move before the end of the current transfer window will require Real Madrid to take the initiative – Mbappé wants to conduct himself as well as possible over the course of the saga. Nevertheless, Mbappé is happy in Paris, even if he is aware that the upcoming campaign is likely to be his final one at the club.
