Italy and Turkey name starting XIs for Euro 2020 opener

Italy and Turkey have named their starting line-ups for Friday’s Euro 2020 opener in Rome.

Gigi Donnarumma starts in goal for Italy, behind a back four of Alessandro Florenzi, Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Spinazzola.

Nicolò Barella partners Jorginho and Manuel Locatelli in midfield.

Domenico Berardi and Lorenzo Insigne have been tasked with supporting Ciro Immobile.

For Turkey, Uğurcan Çakır starts in goal behind a back four of Mehmet Zeki Celik, Çaglar Soyuncu, Merih Demiral and Umut Meras.

Okay Yokuslu partners Ozan Tufan in midfield with Hakan Çalhanoglu further forward.

Kenan Karaman and Yusuf Yazici have been tasked with supporting Burak Yilmaz up front.
