Inter have agreed on personal terms for a contract with Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin, though they have yet to come to an agreement with the Gunners on a move.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica, who report that the 26-year-old has agreed terms for a four-year contract with the Nerazzurri which would see him earn €3.5 million net per season.
Bellerin has handed in his transfer request to the Gunners, although the London club still see him as an important contributor and would be reticent to allow him to leave.
The player is willing to take a pay cut to join Inter, with the €3.5 million agreed with Inter down from the €5.7 net per season he currently earns at Arsenal.
The key matter could be whether the English side will be willing to agree to a deal which the Nerazzurri are happy with, as the Nerazzurri are still hoping for a loan with a purchase option as their preferred formula.
