🇩🇪 MOUKOKO AND GÖTZE IN! GERMANY ANNOUNCE SQUAD FOR WORLD CUP 2022
Germany have announced their squad for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.
Coach Hansi Flick named his travelling party at a press conference on Thursday with the headline coming in the form of Marco Reus’s absence.
The Borussia Dortmund man has suffered an ankle injury and will not be picked for the tournament.
In his place though, comes club mate Youssoufa Moukoko, who at 17 will be one of the youngest players at the World Cup.
Veteran defender Mats Hummels has also been left at home with Antonio Rüdiger and Niklas Süle providing the experience in defence.
World Cup 2014 hero Mario Götze is amongst the travelling group though, getting his first call up for the national team in five years.
Germany start their campaign on Wednesday November 23 against Japan.
