Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer admits he is an admirer of his England counterpart Jordan Pickford.
The two shot stoppers will be playing vital roles as England take on Germany at Wembley on Tuesday in the Euro 2020 round of 16.
Neuer, who is often seen as the best sweeper keeper in world football, had high praise for Everton goalkeeper Pickford.
“Jordan Pickford is a great goalkeeper,” he said.
“He can kick very long balls and this can be a threat to our defensive line.
“You have to stay very focused, especially deep.
“He talks a lot to his team-mates in front of him. He’s very communicative, very fast and agile.
“I can only say positive things about him.”
