Borussia Dortmund are working intensively to sign 22-year-old PSV Eindhoven attacker Donyell Malen, according to Kicker.
The Bundesliga side will receive a guaranteed €85 million for Jadon Sancho, who will join Manchester United pending a medical, and are ready to invest a percentage of that fee to sign Malen.
PSV coach Roger Schmidt has already admitted that the Dutchman is likely to leave the club this summer despite a contract until 2024 and as reported by Bild last month, Malen is likely to cost around €30m.
Should BVB sign Malen, he will not be a direct replacement for Sancho but instead could be used alongside Erling Haaland ahead of a midfield diamond.
