Barcelona defender Gerard Pique took aim at former president Josep Maria Bartomeu after Lionel Messi’s departure.
Pique admits Messi’s exit is a “hard blow”.
After victory over Joan Gamper Trophy opponents Juventus, Pique said: “For the best player in history to leave is very hard and it hurts, but one day it had to happen, life goes on and people want to go to the stadiums and today we have given them a show.
“It is a mental blow, it has done us wrong. Messi, too. We lose the best of all time. The team must adapt, there is talent. The management of recent years has not been the best, that penalises us. But history shows that we will get up.”
