Barcelona have confirmed that Ousmane Dembélé will require surgery on a knee injury picked up at Euro 2020.
It was confirmed earlier this week that the young forward would miss the entire tournament for France after he limped off in the 1-1 draw against Hungary.
But now his club side has revealed that the injury to the right knee is serious enough to require immediate surgery.
There is no official word as to how long Dembélé will be out but a report from L’Equipe on Tuesday claimed he could be sidelined for four months.
