Arsenal are set to be without both Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette for Friday’s Premier League opener.
The Gunners take on newly-promoted Brentford but will be without their two main strikers.
The Athletic report that Aubameyang is unwell and that Lacazette is also unavailable.
Between them, Aubameyang and Lacazette scored 23 of the club’s 55 league goals last season.
Eddie Nketiah is also injured.
Without those three, Mikel Arteta will have to choose between youngsters Folarin Balogun and Gabriel Martinelli to lead the line.
