JUVENTUS READYING BIG-MONEY SUMMER OFFER FOR ATALANTA STAR TEUN KOOPMEINERS
The powers that be at Serie A heavyweights Juventus are ready to sanction a big-money summer swoop for Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners.
That’s according to transfer insider Gianluca Di Marzio who has today provided a fresh insight into the situation.
It is of course common knowledge that Cristiano Giuntoli and co. are on the lookout for fresh blood in the middle of the park.
This comes amid the consensus in Turin that Massimiliano Allegri’s midfield remains one piece shy of complete.
A whole host of engine room stars, in turn, have been tipped to link up with Juve across the month to date.
Di Marzio, however, points towards the Bianconeri preparing to delay reinforcement until the summer, to ensure that their priority target is landed.
Aware that Serie A rivals Atalanta will be unwilling to part with such a key piece mid-season, it is understood that Giuntoli and his team have decided to wait until the winter window slams shut, before opening direct talks with La Dea over a deal for the aforementioned Koopmeiners.
From here, Juventus will offer up a sum in the region of €40 million, plus bonuses, to bring the Dutchman to the Allianz Stadium.
Koopmeiners has enjoyed a stellar season to date, to the tune of seven goals and four assists in 26 appearances across all competitions.
