Harry Kane has trained alongside his Tottenham teammates on Tuesday after completing a period of isolation.
Kane missed the north London side’s season-opening win against Manchester City on Sunday, after being required to undergo a period of quarantine following his return from a post-Euro 2020 holiday.
The England captain trained alone on Monday before rejoining the main group today and Sky Sports are reporting that he will be in contention to face Pacos de Ferreira in the club’s Europa Conference League play-off tie on Thursday evening.
Kane’s future remains unclear with the 28-year-old keen to leave Spurs in search of silverware this summer, with Manchester City believed to be preparing a new bid after seeing an opening offer rejected earlier in the transfer window.
Spurs have insisted that Kane – who has three years remaining on his current contract – is not for sale, though a Premier League record offer could arrive from the Etihad before the closure of the transfer window.
City have already secured the signing of Jack Grealish in a £100m record-breaking deal this summer, but reports have suggested the Premier League champions are prepared to exceed that figure in a bid to lure Kane to the club.
Pep Guardiola’s side are in the market for a centre-forward following the departure of Sergio Aguero to Barcelona, the champions having struggled to convert chances during Sunday’s disappointing 1-0 loss at Spurs.
