Michael Olise’s superb strike for Crystal Palace against Manchester United has won the Premier League’s January Goal of the Month.
His incredible last gasp free-kick secured his side a point at the death against United, not that you would have known it from his infamously low-key celebration.
It is the 21-year-old’s first Premier Leaguemonthly award win and the first for Palace since Wilfried Zaha won the same honour in February 2022 for his goal against Norwich City.
Mikel Arteta has been crowned as the Premier League’s Manager of the Month for January.
His side won two of their three games, thrilling wins over Tottenham and Manchester United, and drew with Newcastle.
It is the third time that he has won the award this season and the second time in as many months.
Arteta’s win is also his fifth overall, while he is now two victories away from equalling Jürgen Klopp’s record of five in a single season which came in 2019/20.
Earlier, it was announced that Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford has won the Player of the Month award for January.
It comes after a month in which he netted three times, including a dramatic late Manchester derby winner.
It is also the second time the England international has won the honour this season after also taking it home in September.
In total, it is the third Player of the Month award win of Rashford’s career, having won it for the first time in January 2019.
